The One Day Course
The day is divided into both theoretical and practical sessions.
Welcoming refreshments await your arrival at the venue, a country house hotel set in idyllic grounds, where you will learn of the humble mole and instruction on traditional mole control.
In the morning session, a wealth of knowledge is clearly imparted and explained with the aim of making you conversant with best practice in the control of the little man in black.
A morning coffee break provides an opportunity for a short interruption in the demands of assimilating the detailed content of the morning session.
Use of earth implements is covered before you enjoy lunch (restaurant or a buffet). Special dietary requirements can be catered for
After lunch (and time to relax), venturing into the venues acres of grounds offers an opportunity for you to make practical use of the instruction received during the morning session. The location has resident moles to help explain the fascinating world beneath your feet and really set you on your path to understanding this strange world.
The afternoon session is interrupted by a short break for a cup of tea and some cake and concludes with a chance to ask questions to the foremost authority on mole catching.
The Course Venue
A beautiful Victorian Country House Hotel, set in acres of Berkshire parkland, formerly the home of the Marquis of Ormonde, is the venue for the Guild of British Molecatchers training courses. The hotel is in central Berkshire (junction 10 of the M4) with easy access from all major road networks including the M25, M3 and M40.
Rooms at the Cantley House Hotel go fast but other amenities are within a few minutes from this training venue.
Bracknell has two Premier Inns- The Twin Bridges which attendees travelling from M3 will drive past on route and the Bracknell Central -look on the Premier Inn web site for locations and prices
