Who may join?

Membership is open to individuals, groups and companies (whether or not they are engaged in any form of pest control) both professional and amateur, provided that:

They agree to carry out (or commission) all mole control activity in accordance with the Guild of British Molecatchers Code of Practice

They agree to abide by The Guild of British Molecatchers Terms and Conditions of Membership.

If you share our concern for the mole and our belief in a future for traditional mole control in the United Kingdom, then there is no reason why you should not qualify for membership.

By becoming a full member of the Guild of British Molecatchers and displaying the recognisable Guild logo , you will be part of an organisation promoting reliable, trustworthy service and expertise - mole control with the clear benefits of identifiable support, training and advice.

We accept there are those that employ inappropriate practice and devices along with opposition for change, with claims made that there is no reason to comply with or any need for animal welfare in relation to mole catching, but are they truthful in the grounds for disregarding any concern for the possible suffering to the mole.

FACT- there is not any mechanical device that will, despite marketing claims that will expire the life of a mole instantly, there will always be some level of suffering which can only be addressed by the actions of the person responsible for the occurrence.
